Trad for Trócaire, Thurs. September 29th, 2011:
Join us at The Valley House Bar this Thursday night, Sept 29th for a rousing session of traditional Irish music in aid of Trocaire - working to bring about positive and lasting change in some of the world's poorest places.

Trad & Folk Open Session:
Every Thursday join Robert Gogan, Joe Mulligan & Friends for an open trad and folk session by the fire at The Valley House Bar. This session is open to anyone who wants to take part, whether you are an experienced musician or a complete beginner...bring your instrument or just your voice and join in!

Friday night: Niall Teague and The Fast Company Original tunes and folk songs with a line up of vocals, double bass, fiddle, flute, banjo/mandolin, percussion and guitar.
Saturday night: The Tin Box Company...a Bluegrass Band hell bent on getting yours legs a moving and a shaking and enlightning your soul with the sweet, soulful and sometimes crazy sounds that they produce.

10pm Live Music with The Stone Cold Band - funk, soul and Rock 'n' Roll!

August 19th/20th: Theatre at The Valley House - "Dublin by Lamplight" a play directed by Gorretti Slavin, performed by "In the Club" Theatre Productions. A hugely entertaining melodrama written by Michael West and structured on James Joyce’s Ulysses. The tale covers the doings of an eventful day in 1904, as a group of theatre enthusiasts struggle to create an Irish national theatre in a city swarming with cops, crooks, and soldiery, while the King of England makes a royal visit.

Performances on Friday 19th at 8pm and Saturday 20th at 8pm.
